More About Fall Season 25-26 Important DatesThis marks an amazing milestone in Coach Worthy’s 23rd year here at Dakota. Under her leadership, this competitive cheer season was filled with numerous successes, including the MAC Red Championship, District Championship, and a state qualification. To top off this already stellar season, Coach Worthy was voted Regional Coach of the Year by her fellow coaches—a true testament to the respect and admiration she’s earned within the coaching community.A huge congratulations to Michela Worthy from Dakota Varsity Cheer on being named REGIONAL Coach of the Year and D1 State Coach of the Year! 🎉🏆What an incredible honor! Makayla Reed finished with a double double: 10 points and 10 rebounds.Brooklyn Garavaglia had 21 points and 5 steals. Meadow Cameron added 11 points and 4 steals. Allie Ruggirello finished with 10 points and 7 rebounds. The girls have their first home game this Friday against Utica at 7pm.

This past weekend Dakota Varsity and JV dance teams traveled to the west side of the state to compete in the Dance Team Union regional hosted by East Kentwood High School in Grand Rapids. Both teams placed first in their Jazz and Pom routines. Varsity had the highest score of the day for their Jazz routine and earned the Grand Champion title and a partial bid to Nationals. We are proud of our little sister teams at the Chippewa Valley elementary and middle schools for also dominating their divisions. It was a clean sweep for the district. Come check us out next month when we return from break and compete here at Dakota on our home turf!
